Liz joined Engeny in August 2022 and is a Principal Ecologist who has been working in the consultancy sector for over 14 years. During this time she has gained a wide range of industry experience and a broad knowledge of ecology with a specialty for coal and infrastructure projects in the area of flora, fauna and biodiversity offsets, particularly within Southern, Central and Northern Queensland region.

Liz has been involved in a number of large-scale Environmental Impact Assessments, EPBC referrals, environmental approval documentation and management plans for energy and infrastructure projects where she has taken on a role as project co-ordinator and technical lead, gaining experience in managing large budgets and demanding timeframes. As part of this role, she has been responsible for organising and leading large scale ecological surveys and technical documentation where she has demonstrated the ability to design vigorous scientific studies and write clear, concise and technically sound reports.
