Recently, our Queensland Civil Engineers came together for an in-house training opportunity on the Gold Coast, to share their knowledge and experience on aspects of urban civil design.
There were 17 people in total who attended, with a mix of undergraduates to senior principals.
The training covered topics including:
– Risk and Road Safety
– Guardrails and Barrier Systems
– Footpaths, Cycleways and Disability Access
– Lines of Site and Site Distance Checks
– Design Scope Definition & Complex Multidisciplinary Project coordination
– Constraints in a brownfields urban environment (utilities, vegetation, etc.)
This was such an exciting and enjoyable training opportunity for our staff, they also enjoyed a lovely lunch at Kurrawa Surf Club with a spectacular view of some whales out behind the surf 👷♂️☀️🌊🐳
