As part of our collaboration with Bellbird Park State Secondary College through a scholarship program for high-achieving students in the STEAM program, we are thrilled to share highlights from our recent field trip. This experience brought the fascinating world of stormwater management and engineering to life for our students, connecting classroom learning with real-world applications.
The trip took place in White Rock, where our engineering team provided insights into a waterway diversion project. Our second stop was at Providence North, where students explored the various engineering elements needed to develop integrated stormwater systems, including rock natural channel designs and stormwater harvesting systems.
This field trip was more than just an educational outing; it offered students the opportunity to envision themselves as future engineers and problem-solvers.
